Webout is Redefining Video Personalization with AI and Expanding Globally with Support from DEPO
Creating personalized video content without the need for large-scale production or technical expertise—Webout, a Czech-based startup, is redefining video creation by enabling businesses to tailor content in real-time for each viewer. The startup has secured €100,000 million in funding from investment group DEPO Ventures, with additional backing from angel investors Miroslav Michalko, Radek Alenka, and Vladan Hejnic, who formed the Venture Buddies syndicate and contributed €240,000 million. This brings Webout’s total funding round to €340,000 million, which will be used to scale its product and expand into international markets.

Unlocking new possibilities for content personalization
Webout has developed an interactive video player that displays customers’ names, specific products, and tailored services. This technology delivers up to 10x higher click-through rates, doubles return on investment, and achieves video completion rates of up to 95%. Major brands, including Notino, Česká spořitelna, AC Sparta Praha, and TV Prima, already leverage Webout’s capabilities, with some campaigns going viral. A case in point: AC Sparta Praha’s campaign generated 1.7 million views organically, with zero paid promotion.
"We believe the future of video lies in real-time personalization and interactivity. Our goal is to develop technology that makes this accessible to a limitless number of users worldwide, setting a new benchmark in digital communication," explains Karel Juřička, co-founder of Webout. "Personalized videos shouldn't be a premium feature reserved for big players. That’s why we’re working to make them an everyday tool for businesses of all sizes and individuals—from corporations to SMEs, creatives, and freelancers. Everyone should have the opportunity to harness the power of this content," he adds.
The company was co-founded by Karel Juřička, an experienced developer behind the IPTV platform Kuki and key technology projects for Stream.cz, and Michal Orsava, a director, marketer, and founder of video production agency Filmagix, whose viral videos have amassed over 30 million views. Together, they aim to establish a new standard in video marketing, making content personalization accessible to a broad audience—without requiring deep technical knowledge.
"Webout is setting a new benchmark for video personalization, transforming how businesses and individuals engage with their audiences. With a scalable SaaS model and AI integration, the platform offers an efficient and user-friendly solution for dynamic content creation. This positions Webout for massive growth, not just in the B2B sector but also in B2C," says Jan Krahulík, partner at DEPO Ventures. "Investing in Webout means backing an innovative technology already delivering results for major clients and now has its sights set on the global market."
Webout has also won multiple awards, including first place at the Sport Alive Awards for the best sports content, third place at the Startup Punch 2024 competition, and the top prize in the Lemur Awards for digital communication.
From product development to global expansion
The new investment will accelerate the development and launch of Webout’s first scalable SaaS product with video templates, designed to make personalized content creation accessible to users with no production or technical background. The funds will also be used to grow the internal team, drive execution, and strengthen the company’s commercial division to support its international expansion.
In the next phase, Webout will focus on entering the U.S. market, aiming to capture attention with viral videos that introduce the platform in an engaging, modern way. At the same time, the company is working on AI-powered enhancements to push video personalization to the next level, expanding interactive possibilities. Webout also plans to strengthen its presence in key European markets, positioning itself as a leader in video personalization and offering its solution to a wide range of businesses and independent creators.
